EQUIPMENT

Here's a complete list of my current rig, and a little bit about each piece of Gear, enjoy!

(Some of the pics are stock from the companies site, as my home digital camera pics were poor quality. If you would like to see the actual guitars, check out the images section)

IBANEZ RGT42DXFM- This is the highest quality Guitar I own. Neck through, Flamed Maple top, Stan Hinesley Custum wound "Rogue" Humbucker in the Bridge, and "Viper" pickup in the Neck. Warm, full tone with a ton of sustain. Gotta love it!

IBANEZ RG350EX- The most recent addition to my collection,   It's loaded with Stan Hinesley "Rogue" and "Viper" Humbuckers.

IBANEZ RG450 DXWH- My Guitar has Dimarzio Evolution Pickups in the Neck and Bridge. For a semi low priced Guitar, it sounds and plays great. Plus it reminds me of Steve Vai's "Evo" or "Flow" guitars
sh_pickups.gif (2225 bytes) STAN HINESLEY HANDCRAFTED PICKUPS - My main choice in pickups. Handcrafted in Florida by Stan Himself, one at a time. I currently use Stan's "Rogue" and "Viper" Humbuckers, as well as "Hellcat" and "Desperado" Single coils. All wound extra hot to my liking. These pickups absolutely sing! Super dynamic and rich in tone, the best pickups I've had the pleasure of playing.

RACK SET-UP

Korg DTR-1000 Rack Tuner- The standard in Rackmounted Tuners, easy to use makes tuning a breeze in any situation.

Furman M-8D Power Conditioner- Nice Mid Range unit. I like the LED voltage meter, and it was half the cost of the PL Plus.

ENGL 570 Tube Preamp- This preamp Rocks, from Crystal Clear Warm Clean Tones, to subtle Crunch, to Overdriven blistering Lead Tones, MIDI Programmable, this amp can do it all!

BBE 462 Sonic Maximizer- I had this in my old rack and had pretty much lost interest in it. It was basically sitting around collecting dust when I decided I'd throw it into my new rig and see what it had to offer my new tone. Glad I did, sounds killer. Really gave my entire sound a boost, big tight low end, crystal clear shimmering highs. The "Magic Box" so to speak, seriously this thing just makes everything sound better!

TC Electronic G-Force Effects Processor- Top of the line Effects Unit, super transparent effects with zero noise. Doesn't get any better!

Marshall 9100 50 Watt Dual Mono Block Tube Power Amp-Killer, crystal clear tone. This amp cranks!

Mills Acoustics 412A Slant Cab- Leaves everything else in the dust! Takes your tone to a new level. Loaded with celestions, this Cab is made with nothing but the best. I currently run two of these bad boys live, and the stereo tone is unbelievable!!!

pedalboard2.jpg (33032 bytes) Furman SPB-8C- Love this pedal board! With the built in Power Strip and Hardshell Case, it makes storing, transporting and setting up to play a snap. A piece by piece breakdown of the pedals on the board is listed below.

DIGITECH WHAMMY 4- After using the Digitech Whammy-Wah Pedal for the last few years, and basically playing it to death, I decided it was time to upgrade. This Pedal Rocks, well made, great tone, and all kinds of features. Can't beat it!

rocktron-midi-mate.jpg (15028 bytes) Rocktron MIDI Mate Footswitch- Allows me to switch my Preamp, and effects processor from channel to channel with the touch of a button.

VOX Clyde Mcoy Wah- After having two Dunlop Crybaby pedals break in under a year, I decided to spend the extra money and give this Wah a try. Glad I did, as it has a far greater tonal range and overall better sound than the previous pedals I had tried. This thing rocks!

bbpre1.jpg (15508 bytes) Xotic Effects BB Preamp- I love this pedal, it's like a secret weapon for sweetening up a tone. I think it sounds best when added low gain channels, or Clean channels. You get this warm, full tone, very rich and organic sounding. Sort of gives everything a little boost, awesome!

SFARZO Strings - Excellent strings made right here in the U.S. Bright, crystal clear tone. I currently use their Regular Lite 9-46 SFT Screamers, and Super Screamers, love em'!!

Dunlop Jazz 3- A friend of mine suggested I try one of these picks one day, and I haven't looked back since. At first, it was a bit awkward being so small. It was super accurate though, and didn't bend or get in my way. Once I got completely comfortable using it, I tried using one of my old picks and hated it! I absolutely swear by em' now.
